Artists Statement
“To me all art is ultimately about perception. I’m fascinated by the interconnectedness of things and through my work seek to explore space both visible and invisible. I like to think my work alludes to a type of visual poetry that emerges from a space where experience, memory and imagination collide through the interaction of materials and printmaking processes.”
Robert is a visual artist born in Drogheda, Co. Louth. A graduate of Dunlaoghaire School of Art and Design, National College of Art and Design and post graduate studies at Trinity College Dublin he works in Printmaking, Painting, Photography and Installation.
He is a professional member of Visual Artists Ireland, a member of Black Church Print Studio, Dublin and Creative Spark Print Studio, Dundalk.
He has had numerous solo exhibitions and exhibited widely in curated group exhibitions both Nationally and Internationally.
His work is held in public, corporate and private collections.
